Terms of Use and Purchase

These terms cover the websites of Dove Development & Consulting, LLC and People Optimization System LLC ("we," "us") and anything you buy from us. By using either site or making a purchase, you agree to them. We've kept them as plain as we can.
Who you're buying from
Both companies are Virginia limited liability companies led by Wes and Cindy Dove. For any purchase, the seller is the company named on your checkout page, receipt, proposal, or invoice.
Program terms come first
Some of what we offer has its own terms, listed on our Terms & Policies page, such as our Strategic Leadership Coaching Terms and the PROOF: The POS 360™ Terms of Purchase. Where those terms, or a proposal or agreement you've signed or approved, say something different from these general terms, they take precedence.
When you approve one of our proposals or pay one of our invoices, you accept the terms that apply to the services listed.
Your account
- Keep your login private. Each account is for one person unless you purchased access for a team.
- We may pause or close an account that is shared, misused, or used against these terms.
Our content and how you may use it
Our courses, books, assessments, videos, worksheets, and frameworks, including the People Optimization System™, are ours and are protected by copyright and trademark law. When you buy access, you may use them for your own development, or for the team you purchased them for. Please don't copy, resell, share, or teach our materials, or use them to build competing products or to train AI tools, without our written permission. If you'd like to use our work more widely, ask us about licensing.
What we do and don't promise
We share what has worked for us and our clients, but we can't promise particular results. Our programs and assessments are for leadership and professional development. They are not legal, financial, medical, or psychological advice, and our assessments are not meant to be used in decisions about hiring, pay, discipline, or promotion.
Payments, subscriptions, and payment plans
- Prices are in U.S. dollars and are shown at checkout or on your invoice. Payments are handled by secure payment processors; we never see or store your full card number.
- Memberships and other subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time before your next billing date and keep access through the end of the period you've paid for.
- If you choose a payment plan, you agree to complete all of the payments. If a payment is missed, we may pause your access until it's made.
Refunds
Unless an offering's own terms say otherwise, you may ask for a full refund within 14 days of your purchase, as long as you haven't completed more than a quarter of the course, downloaded its workbook or materials, or attended the live session. After 14 days, purchases are not refundable. For annual memberships, the same 14 days apply to each annual payment. Monthly subscription payments already made are not refunded, and you can cancel future payments at any time. To ask for a refund, contact us using the details below.
Live sessions and recordings
We may record live virtual sessions, group programs, and events and share the recordings with the people taking part. We'll let you know when a session is being recorded.
Communities and what you post
In our online communities, please be respectful and don't share anyone else's confidential information. You keep ownership of what you post, and you allow us to display it within that community. We may remove posts or members that don't fit these terms.
Emails
If you sign up for our newsletters or free resources, we'll email you. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time with one click. We'll still send emails about purchases and programs you're part of.
Other websites
Our sites may link to other websites and tools. We aren't responsible for their content or how they handle your information.
Limits on our responsibility
Our sites and materials are provided as they are. Our total responsibility to you for anything related to our sites or a purchase is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the issue arose, and we aren't responsible for indirect losses, such as lost profits, or for decisions you or others make based on our materials.
Changes and the fine print
We may update these terms from time to time and will change the date at the top when we do. The version in place when you made a purchase applies to that purchase. These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, and any dispute will be handled in the courts serving Rockingham County, Virginia.
