Event Terms
Last updated October 27, 2026 ยท For the LEADERSHIPLEGACY Experience, the Executive Summit, and other live events we host.
These terms apply when you register for one of our live events, whether you register yourself or a partner organization registers you. Our Terms of Use and Purchase and Privacy Policy also apply. Where an event page, proposal, or partnership package says something different, it takes precedence.
Your registration
- Your registration covers what's described on the event page for that year's event, including any bonuses listed there.
- Seating is limited, and we may use a seating chart.
- We may adjust the agenda, session times, or who presents. We'll keep the event true to what was described.
Refunds
You may cancel for a full refund up to 30 days before the event. After that, registrations are not refundable, but you can send someone in your place.
Sending someone in your place
You can transfer your registration to someone else at any time, at no charge. Just let us know their name before the event so their badge and seat are ready.
If we postpone or cancel
If we have to postpone an event, your registration moves to the new date. If you can't attend the new date, we'll refund your registration in full. If we cancel an event, we'll refund your registration in full. We aren't responsible for travel, lodging, or other costs you've arranged.
Recertification credit
When an event is approved for SHRM or HRCI recertification credit, we share the program codes in the room. If you need them afterward, contact us.
Photos and video
We take photos and video at our events and may use them to share and promote our events and programs. If you'd rather not appear, let us know at check-in.
Attendee lists
We may share a list of attendees' names and organizations. We never share email addresses, phone numbers, or other contact details with sponsors, partners, or other attendees.
Conduct
Our events work because people come ready to learn and treat each other with respect. We may ask anyone who disrupts the event or mistreats others to leave, without a refund.
Event partners
Partnership packages, including partner seats, are set out in each partner's package and invoice, and those terms apply. Guests registered by a partner follow these Event Terms.
