This policy explains how Dove Development & Consulting, LLC and People Optimization System LLC ("we," "us") collect, use, and protect your information. The short version: we collect what we need to serve you well, we're careful with it, and we never sell it.
What we collect
- What you give us: your name, email, phone, organization, role, and billing address when you sign up, register, buy, or contact us. Card details go straight to our payment processors.
- Assessment and survey answers: your answers to our free assessments and to PROOF: The POS 360โข. PROOF has its own Data and Ownership Policy, which also applies.
- Program information: your course progress, community posts, and, for coaching, the notes, transcripts, or recordings described in our Coaching Terms.
- Automatic information: your IP address, browser, device, and the pages you visit, collected through cookies and similar tools.
How we use it
- To deliver what you signed up for or bought, and to support your account.
- To send emails about your purchases and programs, and newsletters and resources you've asked for. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.
- To send you your assessment results and to improve our assessments and programs, using answers combined without names.
- To provide recertification credit information when you request it.
- To keep our sites secure and working, and to meet our legal and accounting obligations.
Assessment results
Your results from our free assessments are yours. When an organization asks several of its people to take an assessment, it sees only a group picture, and only once enough people have taken part that no one's answers can be picked out.
Who we share it with
- Service providers who run parts of our business for us, such as our course and email platform, payment processors, scheduling, video meeting, accounting, and transcription and AI tools. They may use your information only to do that work.
- Each other: our two companies share information as needed to deliver programs to you.
- Others only when the law requires it, to protect someone's safety or our legal rights, or as part of a sale or transfer of our business, in which case this policy would continue to apply.
We never sell or rent your personal information, and we don't share your email address, phone number, or other contact details with event sponsors, partners, or other attendees. At events, we may share a list of attendees' names and organizations, but nothing more.
AI tools
We use AI tools to help us prepare materials, session summaries, and reports. They work under our direction, and a person on our team reviews anything that is sent to you.
Cookies
Our course platform uses cookies to keep you logged in and to run checkout. We may also use analytics tools to understand how our sites are used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser, though some parts of the sites may not work without them.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as you're working with us and as long afterward as we need it for our records, taxes, and legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your information at any time; we'll do so unless we're required to keep it.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from marketing emails with the link in any email.
- Ask to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you. We'll reply within five business days and complete your request within 30 days.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information and limit who can see it. No system is perfectly secure, so if a problem affects your information, we'll tell you as the law requires.
Children
Our sites and programs are for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If we learn that we have, we'll delete it.
Where your information is kept
Our businesses are in the United States, and your information is stored and handled here.
Changes
We may update this policy and will change the date at the top when we do. If we make a significant change, we'll let you know.
