In the 15 Invaluable Laws of Growth, John Maxwell presents Laws of Growth with the Live It, Learn It, Lead It mindset challenging us to Live It but genuinely living out the law we are growing in.  This challenges us to be the change.  Learn It is simply taking in the right information. However, many people learn but never improve themselves or find a fulfilling path in life which leads to their purpose because they learn but do not grow.  In other words, they do not apply, stretch, and put in the work to grow themselves which is the answer to all other fulfillment.

For example, we can read about the Law of Intentionality but if we do not apply it we don’t grow!

In one of our (Cindy) study groups, we are currently learning more about the Law of Awareness which says, to know yourself you must grow yourself.  We started with questions like the ones below to help us know ourselves better and these will work for you too.  As you think about who you are, ask yourself ...What are your victories, discoveries and challenges as you become more aware of who you are?

The more we increase our personal awareness, what it means to be personally aware AND how we can continue to grow in this area the more clear our vision for the future becomes.  This is all about increasing awareness of your own personal identity and exploring powerful questions to help you do just that. Becoming more personally aware and living this out by growing yourself helps you not just grow but to grow in the areas that move you in the direction of your goals.

There are dozens of quality questions we can ask ourselves when it comes to increasing our personal awareness and becoming more aware of our own identity.  For now, take some time to ponder these.

Do you like what you are doing now? If you do like it, great!  How can you be even better?!

If you don’t like what you’re doing for a living you need to take some time to explore why.  Which takes us to the questions of, What would you like to do?  This is a question of what you are passionate about.  There is a direct connection between finding your passion and reaching your potential. We grow and become our best when we are following our passion and purpose.

Here’s to increasing your awareness as you think into these!  If you would like to join our complimentary personal and professional development courses, you can do so here.  You may even enjoy accessing our courses from the awesome app we offer!
